Healthy Juice





This is a healthy juice made with fruits and vegetables, very suitable for juice diets.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Pineapple pieces – 1 cups
  • Chopped Carrot - ¼ cup
  • Chopped Beetroot - ¼ cup
  • Chopped Banana - ¼  cup
  • Chopped Apple - ¼ cup
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp 
  • Water – 1 cup

PREPARATION METHOD:
  • Blend pineapple pieces, carrot, beetroot, apple, banana and sugar smoothly.
  • Add water and blend it together. 
  • Filter it and serve.

Pineapple Juice




INGREDIENTS:
  • Pineapple pieces – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp 
  • Water – 1 cup

  • Blend pineapple pieces and sugar smoothly.

  • Filter it and serve.

Almond Dates Milk Shake / Badam Dates Milk Shake



A healthy drink

INGREDIENTS:
  • Almonds - 10 nos
  • Dates - 6 nos
  • Milk(chilled milk) - 1 cup
  • Sugar - ½ tsp
PREPARATION METHOD:
  • Soak bedam in water and remove the skin.
  • Blend  badam, dates, suger and ¼ cup milk smoothly.
  • Add the remaining milk and blend the mixture together.

Moru (Sambharam) / Buttermilk



Moru or sambharam is a popular refresher drink in kerala. It is a good energiser drink during summer.
we can also use the Moru (sambharam) as a curry with rice.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Water - ½ Cup
  • Green Chilly - 1 or 2 nos
  • Ginger - small piece
  • Curry leaves  - stem
  • Salt to taste

PREPARATION METHOD:
  • Beat Curd with water in a mixer and remove the butter from it.
  • Crush ginger and green chilly and add to buttermilk.
  • Add salt and curry leaves and mix well.

Recommended Combination: Serve with Rice, pickle or chammanthi or with any dish.

Apple Banana Milk Shake



This ia  variety and tasty milk shake prepared using apple and banana.

INGREDIENTS: 
  • Chilled Milk - 1 cup
  • Rippened Plantain - 1 no
  • Apple - 1 no
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Cashewnut - 5 nos
  • Almond - 5 nos

PREPARATION METHOD:
  • Peel the Skin of  the Apple and cut it into small pieces.
  • Chop the Plantain. 
  • Blend Plantain, apple, sugar, cashewnut and almond smoothly.
  • Add chilled milk and blend together.
  • Pour it into a glass and serve.

  • Chilled Milk - 1 cup
  • Rippened Plantain - 2 no
  • Horlicks / any chocolate health drink - 1 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Cashewnut - 5 nos
  • Almond - 5 nos

  • Blend Plantain, health drink mix, sugar, cashewnut and almond smoothly.
  • Add chilled milk and blend together.
  • Pour it into a glass.
  • Now it is ready to serve.
